Exams required to study MBBS abroad
In March 2019, An order passed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) stipulates that all Indian students who wish to study MBBS abroad must take the National Entrance Examination (NEET). Candidates should note that the upper limit of NEET is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates. NEET scores are valid for three years.
Candidates who wish to conduct medical research abroad may also need to take an English proficiency test to prove their knowledge of English. According to the university’s English language requirements, candidates can choose TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or OET.
